What are dentures?
Dentures are removable replacements for missing teeth.
There are two types of dentures: complete and partial. Complete dentures replace all teeth and removable partial dentures (some people call these removable bridges) replace missing teeth when some natural teeth remain.
Dentures will improve chewing and may also improve speech problems caused by missing teeth. Dentures are made to fit to the shape of your gums so over time they will need to be adjusted, relined or replaced. By matching your unique smile and bite, dentures can improve your ability to enjoy eating, facial appearance and self-confidence.
An alternative to dentures is building a new set of teeth over implants.
